Asay, Lally, Tandy, Rea and Stitt selected for induction into Prince George Sports Hall of Fame

The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame and its Board of Directors are pleased to announce the following individuals as inductees for the years 2019 to 2023. In the athlete category, we are recognizing Amanda Asay (baseball), Kenny Lally (boxing) and Megan Tandy (biathlon). In the coach/builder category, we are recognizing Joe Rea (wheelchair curling) and Edna Stitt (baseball, softball, hockey). We had a total of 16 nominations from which to choose. The Prince George Sports Hall of Fame now has 82 Alumni in our Hall. A big thank you goes out to the community for the many top quality nominations. This year’s banquet will be held at the Ramada Plaza Hotel on Saturday, April 6th, 2024. Details of the banquet time, and ticket information, will be confirmed soon. On this same evening we will be recognizing a number of deserving youth athletes in the Rising Star category.

PGSHOF putting induction process on hold

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Prince George Sports Hall of Fame has suspended all activities related to a 2020-21 induction ceremony. No new nominations are currently being accepted. All current nominations will be retained until the induction process resumes.
